Membership cannot be transferred to anyone. Membership is for individual use only. NOOL reserves the right to accept and reject the membership.

The above information is collected for communicating with you regarding the book/magazine order and messages will be sent via sms / whatsapp / email on information about the following – availability, delivery of books, renewal of membership, change in plan price, and change in policy with regards to plans. Collection of such personal information is aimed at
(i) improving our services and also
(ii) providing personalized services suitable to individual users to the extent possible.

Even though Nool is a library aimed at promoting and encouraging people to develop reading habit from a young age, membership is restricted only to adults, who are however encouraged to borrow books on behalf of minors in their charge. We do not therefore intend to collect any personal information from anyone we know to be under 18 years of age.

Nool is committed to maintain the privacy of Personal Information that is disclosed to it. Wherever your personal information may be held within Nool, we intend to take reasonable and appropriate steps to protect the personal information that you share with us from unauthorized access or disclosure. To make sure your personal information is secure, we communicate these guidelines to our employees and strictly enforce privacy safeguards within the Library. Any Personal Information that is disclosed to our employees will be communicated strictly on a "Need to Know" basis, as for instance the address of a Subscriber for door delivery purposes. We use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption on all web pages where personal information is required. To borrow books from our library on line, you must use an SSL-enabled browser.
